Organisation
The Stiftung Erwachsenenbildung Liechtenstein is a public law foundation. It was established in 1999 by a decision of the Landtag. Its task is to coordinate adult education in Liechtenstein, use the budget funds approved by the Landtag in accordance with the Adult Education Act, and generally plan and promote adult education in Liechtenstein.
Our activitiesThe activities of the Stiftung Erwachsenenbildung Liechtenstein include the following focal points:
Financial support for accredited provider organizations for educational offers
Material and ideal contribution to the creation of a nationwide culture of lifelong learning
Ensuring the visibility of adult education in the educational landscape of Liechtenstein
Ensuring access to educational opportunities for all adult residents of the country
International networking and representation of the Principality of Liechtenstein in various national and international organizations
Work programme
The implementation of EPALE in Liechtenstein is accompanied by the Stiftung Erwachsenenbildung Liechtenstein as the national coordination office to promote high-quality work in the field of adult education. The foundation provides new impulses to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between national and European educational institutions as well as adult education professionals. The specific conditions of Liechtenstein are taken into account to specifically integrate adult education into European activities, expand the educational offer for adult learners, and network professionals across Europe. Since the introduction of EPALE in Liechtenstein, the Stiftung Erwachsenenbildung Liechtenstein, in cooperation with relevant stakeholders, has been providing news, specialist information, events, blog posts, relevant documents, and other resources.
