CLIL IN DUBLIN - GENERAL IMPRESSIONS, OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAMME, APPLICABILITY OF THE METHODS IN THE BULGARIAN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM
Abstract: The article studies the qualification acquired by teachers from Sava Dobroplodni Secondary School, Shumen, following the training in the innovative CLIL method (Content and Language Integrated Learning). The main focus is on the educational programme used by English Matters during the Erasmus+ training at Trinity College Dublin in 2019. The article explores the origin of the term CLIL, the philosophy and principles of the method, as well as its applicability in the Bulgarian educational environment. The author also shares an example of trialling the application of the method in her own teaching
