How to merge your EPALE account with your EU Login account

Linking your EPALE and EU Login accounts is a process that can be done from two sections.

  1. Merging accounts from the login window
  2. Merging accounts from My profile as a logged in user on EPALE

Just follow these steps:

Merging accounts from the login window

  1. Log In to the EPALE Platform:
  2. Merge Your Accounts

There are two options here:

Email Address Mismatch:

  • If your EPALE email is different from the one registered with EU Login, you’ll receive a notification.

  • After accepting the merge, update your country preferences and check the EPALE community guidelines. You can choose to allow National Support Services to contact you and subscribe to the EPALE newsletter, though it’s optional.

Final Steps:

  • Once merged, you’ll be redirected to the EPALE homepage with a confirmation message. If the emails match, the merge happens automatically in the background, and you’ll be taken to the homepage.

How to Create an EU Login Account

  1. Click on the Create an account link on the EU Login main page. Please do not use Sign in with Google or Sign in with Facebook, because these will be removed later this year.

  2. Fill in the form with your details, review the privacy statement, and click Create an account.

  3. Check your email for a verification message and click the link provided.

  4. Choose a password that meets the outlined requirements on the bottom of the page and click Submit.

Merging accounts from My Profile as a logged user on EPALE

If you’re already logged in on EPALE, follow these steps to merge your accounts:

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner and select My Profile.

  2. In the Account Information section, click the button labeled We encourage you to merge your EPALE account with EU Login.

  3. Once clicked, you’ll be redirected to the EU login page where the merging can be done following the steps above.
  4. Also from this section, the merging accounts can be done if the email addresses are the same or diffferent

Below you can find the flow diagram of the merging process.
