SOCO Concludes with Success, Creativity, and Lasting Impact!

The Erasmus+ project SOCO: Stressed Out, Chill Out – Finding common mechanisms to reduce stress, increase positivity and overcome work-related anxiety through digital sharing and mobility exchanges for women professionals has officially concluded after two years of fruitful cooperation, practical innovation, and powerful exchange between partners from Lithuania, Greece, and Croatia.

Led by the Lithuanian coordinating organization, and implemented in close collaboration with partners in Greece and Croatia, the SOCO project delivered on its promise to create supportive tools for adult educators and women professionals facing high levels of stress and anxiety in the workplace. The project concluded with a final dissemination workshop held in Siauliai, Lithuania, from the 6th to the 9th of May 2025. The event gathered all project partners and guests for a series of engaging sessions, inspiring site visits, and meaningful moments of reflection and cultural exchange.

The workshop opened at the venue on Vilnius Street 100 with a warm welcome, followed by an impactful training on non-violent communication delivered by Dr. Aistė Batūraité-Bunka from Vilnius University Siauliai Academy. Further input came from Daiva Jonuskienė of “Athena,” and Anita Kovacevic of TOP RITUAL j.d.o.o. (Croatia), who presented practical strategies for working with migrant women through psychosocial support and informal digital education. Her contributions were made both in person and via Zoom, showcasing the hybrid and inclusive nature of the SOCO project’s cooperation model.

The program continued with a visit to the Ukrainian Integration Centre “Malva”, as well as guided sightseeing to the Golden Boy statue, Iron Fox sculpture, and other cultural landmarks. Participants had the opportunity to explore the intersections of resilience, identity, and wellbeing in both formal and informal learning environments. Day two included visits to the Baltic Cultural Awareness Centre “Baltic Way”, the Hill of Crosses, and the Siauliai Art School and children’s club “Kibirkstis”, highlighting the project’s holistic approach to community-based adult learning.

SOCO’s tangible results are a reflection of the trust and effectiveness of its partnership. The project proudly announces the publication of three major outcomes: a full SOCO Guidebook, a practical SOCO Handbook, and a set of 12 digital teaching scenarios, all designed for use in adult education and support services. These tools target professionals working with women facing work-related stress, and offer creative, movement-based, and digital approaches to overcoming anxiety and building resilience.

All project materials are freely available and fully accessible on the official SOCO website: https://soco.webnode.page

This includes downloadable versions of all Google Docs, learning resources, and final outputs. The website stands as a public legacy of the SOCO initiative, allowing other educators and practitioners to benefit from the project’s experience and methodologies.

Throughout its duration, the SOCO partnership communicated regularly through a blend of formal and informal channels: structured monthly Zoom calls, shared Google Drive folders, project Gantt charts, and weekly WhatsApp and Facebook message coordination. This open and dynamic communication style was key to maintaining progress, solving challenges collaboratively, and ensuring that every partner had a voice in shaping the outcomes.

The project was implemented with the financial support of the European Union under the Erasmus+ KA210-ADU programme. It reflects the best of what European cooperation can offer—relevance, impact, and inclusion. The team behind SOCO expresses deep pride in the process and the results and looks forward to sharing these resources widely across Europe.

Further information, public downloads, and photo documentation are now available on the SOCO website. The Padlet with partner materials and additional resources will be circulated via social media and WhatsApp groups in the coming days.

The SOCO project may have officially come to an end, but its messages of support, wellbeing, and professional empowerment will continue to resonate well beyond the project lifetime!!! We are so proud to contribute to the Erasmus+ community continuously.
