MENNET (Mentoring Network for Facilitating Access to Upskilling Pathways)

The aim of this project is to increase growth into the labour market through facilitating access by up-skilling pathways and making available skills identifications. In today’s society everyone needs to have basic skills for achieve his potential an to play an active role in society and to take civic responsibilities

The target group of  the MENNET project are adults with a low level of skills, knowledge and competences. This will be achieved by delivering education and training in appropriate learning settings in which qualified teachers and trainers apply adult-specific teaching methods and exploit the potential of digital learning.

The objectives are:

  1. To evaluate the level of low skilled adults and adults with fewer opportunities competencies for writing, reading, calculations and use of computer;
  2. To encourage the continuing development of low skilled adults and adults with fewer opportunities by using the innovative education models; by creating training program with sub-modules for their reading, writing, calculations and use of computer competencies.
  3. To create mentoring platform for the reading, writing, calculations and use of computer competencies improvement.

This project comprises 6 organizations from different EU countries like Spain, Norway, Lithuania and Romania.

MENNET wants to increase participation of low skilled adults and adults with fewer opportunities in lifelong learning and also to improve their skills which can be a method for integrate into society better and easier by implementing:

  • Skills assessment tool on upskilling pathways
  • Training program on upskilling pathways
  • Mentoring network for low skilled adults

This project is very actual in nowadays when Europe deeply in crisis of growing unemployment and early leavers from school. It is also innovative as intellectual project material which contribute for developing of low skilled adults and adults with fewer opportunities based on these skill which is necessary for them after the evaluation: writing, reading, calculations and use of computer.
