Maths teaching workshops

The National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) are running a series of free, one-day workshops for lecturers and trainers to help enhance maths teaching and learning. If you teach maths, numeracy or functional maths, or deal with maths as part of your vocational course, then these workshops will be of great value to you.

The workshops, commissioned and funded by The Education and Training Foundation, are running until July 2015 across England, the workshops cover core areas from enhancing your understanding of Number to teaching numeracy in occupational contexts such as construction, hair and beauty and other vocational areas. They are suitable for practitioners from all FE and training settings including colleges, work-place learning and prisons.

All workshops (from 10 am to 4 pm) are free to attend, but numbers are limited.
