Job Shadowing Mobility on Traditional Crafts has been Completed

Our Erasmus+ KA122-ADU short-term project for mobility of staff and learners titled "Booster Implementations for Endangered Crafts" has fulfilled the second of two mobility flows.  Implemented by the Kahramanmaras Olgunlasma Enstitusu, the project is funded by Turkish National Agency with EU grant.

The program was held in Ubeda, Spain, from May 26–30 2025, and involved seven staff from our organisation, including two teachers and five artisans.  Escuela de Arte "Casa de las Torres" organised the job-shadowing program where participants actively participated in activities and examined the continuous processes and cycle of endangered crafts on-site.  Blacksmith “Tiznajo”, wood ceiling decoration “Mudejar” (Paco Luis Martos), ceramics and traditional pottery “Alfar Alfonso Gongora” “Melchor Tito” “Juan Pablo Tito” “Alameda” “Pedro Gongora” “Paco Tito” jewellery “Ferrandiz”, “Esther Morena Art Studio”, traditional olive oil production, basketry and natural fiber art “Esparto”, handweaving “Ana y Francis Tejedores” were among the practices that were examined in order to ensure the sustainability and preservation of traditional arts and crafts.  In addition to conducting in-depth discussions with institution representatives, participants took part in workshops with craftsmen.
