Inclusive educational platform for STEAM methodology and robotics in ECEC

The international consortium within the roboSteamKids project (Project No: 2021-2-PL01-KA220-SCH-000048987) has created an educational platform for preschool and early school education teachers and parents. The platform contains information on STEAM methodology and robotics in preschool education and training materials for teachers and parents to develop digital competences.
The project target groups were ECEC teachers and parents of preschoolers, as well as authorities and other stakeholders responsible for ECEC. By using STEAM methodology and robotics, we tried to prepare kids for a future full of technology.
Regarding technology development and overall engineering boost, we need to prepare kids for the new environment. It is obvious that they easily use different digital devices; however, we want them to be more proactive in this experience. So they will appreciate the technology and be able to create innovations in the future. To do that, adults need new competencies and skills to teach kids. To do that, consortiums have created materials and easy-to-use platforms that can guide teachers, parents, and authorities in applying STEAM methods and robotics at ECEC.
