Give Learning@home a go with unionlearn

unionlearn from the TUC.

Unionlearn has launched their new Learning@home Campaign that is designed to support workers who are currently working or furloughed at home due to COVID-19. The campaign provides access to online training, learning resources, and tips on how to best undertake learning at home. This includes resources from unionlearn’s online toolbox for supporting learners.

The Learning@home resources include:

  • Climbing Frame: a free online resource with information on a range of learning topics
  • SkillCheck: a tool developed by unionlearn to help deliver learning in the workplace
  • Apprenticeship Essentials: unionlearn’s all-in-one resource for apprentices and anyone considering being an apprentice in England
  • TUC Education: training for trade union reps and professionals in England, Scotland, and Wales
  • Skills Network: free access to a distance learning platform with accredited courses
  • Wranx: free bite-sized Functional Skills and GCSE maths & English revision online
  • And more!

Great initiative in particular to increase the number of adult learners and disseminating the message that learning is something that can be customised around personal areas of interest and that can fit into everyon'es daily agenda, supporting personal and professional growth
