Ofqual is seeking views on its proposal to reform functional skills qualifications in English and maths. Along with an online consultation, Ofqual are hosting two events.

This consultation relates to the reform of Functional Skills Qualifications in English and mathematics in England. The purposes of these qualifications, set out by government, are to provide learners with the essential knowledge, skills and understanding that will enable them to operate confidently, effectively and independently in life, and help with progression into employment and further study.
