EPEA Conference June 2023 in Tønsberg, Norway
FOKO, the Norwegian branch of EPEA [European Prison Education Association], The County Governor of Vestland and the EPEA are very happy to invite you to this year’s EPEA conference at the Hotel Klubben, Tønsberg, Norway (https://www.hotelklubben.no/). The hotel will facilitate plenary sessions, workshops, lunch, most of the dinners, and accommodations.
Conference dates: 13 -17 June 2023.
The overall theme of the conference is: Education in Prison. Everyday challenges, experiences and solutions.

Conference participants are invited to a variety of topics and research fields. There are spaces to participate in debates, workshops, and other events. In the program there will also be opportunities to choose among different prison and “follow up class” visits.
The speakers come from all over Europe, Australia and the US to share their knowlegde and know-how with all participants.
There will visits to prison and feedback sessions.
There will be time for informal exchange as well and very interesting cultural activities.
