Education and support of underprivileged groups of library users

Three librarians from the Milovice Municipal Library visited Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.
From 24 to 29 April 2022, library staff participated in a study trip to Helsinki, Finland, as part of the Erasmus+ project "For Experience in Adult Education". They visited 6 libraries in Helsinki and its surroundings. The internship was very beneficial for the preparation and implementation of educational activities.
From 11 to 18 April 2024, library staff participated in a second study trip abroad, to Estonia, within the Erasmus+ project "Education and support for disadvantaged groups of library users". The study trip was aimed at improving the library's educational services, expanding the range of educational activities for new users, including disadvantaged users, improving PR activities and language competences.
