This recently updated and extended NIACE workshop focuses on classroom strategies to support adults with dyslexia and/or dyspraxia to learn.  This training is for teachers or trainers who are responsible for delivering class\training room based learning to adults with dyslexia and/or dyspraxia.

Aims and objectives
The training will clarify what dyslexia and dyspraxia are, and provide a range of strategies for supporting learning in the class/training room.
Expected (learning) outcomes
By the end of the session delegates will be able to: understand how dyslexia and dyspraxia fit in with broader policy on adult literacy/numeracy; understand what dyslexia and dyspraxia are; be able to implement practical classroom strategies to support with reading, writing and spelling; understand exam allowances; be able to signpost learners wishing to access screening and formal assessment for dyslexia and dyspraxia; have an understanding of how technology can be useful to support learners.
