Cambridge University Press, Cambridge English Language Assessment and Cambridge Centar are delighted to welcome English language teachers to a Better Learning Experience in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a conference “Cambridge High Tea” that will take place in Sarajevo on Friday 17th March, from 16.30 to 19.30 at Hotel Europe, Vladislava Skarića 5, 71000 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Andrzej Raczkowski, 
Cambridge University Press
An experienced teacher and educational consultant, Andrzej Raczkowski has taken part in a number of diverse teacher training events and projects in Austria, the Baltics, Germany, Kazakhstan, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia and Switzerland. Having obtained an MA in Linguistics, a CELTA from the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (UK) and a Professional Diploma in Management from the Open University (UK), he currently manages his own training company and works as a freelance trainer with Cambridge University Press (UK), Cambridge English Language Assessment (UK) and Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania). His professional interests include assessment in ELT, educational management and curriculum design, online and mobile learning, effective study skills, and second language acquisition.

Jonathan Pendlebury,
Cambridge English Language Assessment
With over twenty years’ EFL experience, Jonathan has taught learners aged 6 to 66 and has wide experience examining for Cambridge English. He has also written a series of textbooks for 11-15-year-olds, used in Serbian state schools. Passionately believing that inspired teachers produce inspired students, he has led teacher training workshops for, among others, the Serbian Ministry of Education. Currently, he divides his time between Belgrade’s Faculty of Philology, working with first year
students on speaking and writing skills, and a private language school in Belgrade, where he is Director of Studies.

*Developing turn‐taking skills for confident speaking*
This presentation will look at the different interaction
and turn-taking skills in the CEFR and ways of developing these in the classroom. The session will also provide teachers with practical classroom ideas for developing turn-taking skills at different levels which will also be relevant for teachers preparing learners for Speaking Tests including the speaking tests of Cambridge English exams.
