Saving Mother Earth

Over the last couple of decades, global warming has become the main issue in today’s society. In an effort to tackle this global phenomenon, the EU has done a great deal of work to raise people’s awareness and help fight for a more sustainable environment.

Across Europe there are many organizations such as SOS for Planet Earth, Protect the Planet, UN Environment Programme, CAN Europe, The European Environmental Bureau whose aim is to ensure that the EU secures a healthy environment and rich biodiversity for all. They stand for sustainable development, environmental justice and participatory democracy.
