İlayda Eskitaşçıoğlu - EPALE Community Conference 2022

Changing the narrative begins at the level of the individual. How can we create a transformational journey to become active changemakers?

İlayda Eskitaşçıoğlu

Changing the narrative begins at the level of the individual. How can we create a transformational journey to become active changemakers? How do we make a difference at local level as well as at a broader level? How do we foster a strong voice to increase social justice?

Sparking the voice of youth can have a transformative effect on narrative and policy. Ilayda’s fight against period poverty and stigma in Turkey and the Middle East, and the efforts to support vulnerable communities has set a bright example of youth civic engagement for social justice. Young adults are becoming increasingly crucial for setting agendas and policies, standing up for equal access to resources and for inclusion.

May we also liberate our voice and have the courage to use it!
