How is it done? Thirteen examples of good practice in integrating foreigners into the labor market
Despite the barriers and challenges faced by foreigners from countries outside the EU in integrating into the labor market, four European countries, including Slovakia, have developed 13 examples of good practice that show how job integration and professional development of foreigners can work.
The partner organizations of the Career Path project from the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary and Slovakia have prepared an overview of examples of good practice with successful cases of work integration and professional development of foreigners from countries outside the EU.
In the report you will find activities awarded by the National Awards for Career Guidance in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, an example of an employer who sees potential in foreigners from third countries or local government, which creates opportunities for professional development of foreigners.
The report was prepared by researchers based on interviews with foreigners from third countries, employers, representatives of public administration and non-governmental organizations, as well as other stakeholders.
Examples of good practice arose from the Career Path project, which examines the employment conditions and career opportunities of foreigners from third countries living in Hungary, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The aim of the project is to prepare policy recommendations and a set of tools for key actors that will improve access to further professional development opportunities for foreigners from third countries.
The project is co-financed by the European Union's Erasmus+ program.
