Green skills for future workforce in fuel cells and green hydrogen sector

Course modules, training programmes, and online learning platform development for lifelong learning opportunities in fuel cells and green gydrogen sector

H2Excellence is a four-year European project within the Erasmus Plus program composed of 24 partners from 9 different Erasmus+ countries (Finland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Poland, Greece, Romania) and 1 international partner (Canada), specialized within fuel cells and green hydrogen that aims to develop vocational, academic, and lifelong professional training offerings in the field.

The H2Excellence project is working on the establishment of a Platform of Vocational Excellence in the field of fuel cells and green hydrogen technologies with the objective to create and implement lifelong learning opportunities and develop national and international curricula and training programmes.

The project has established several local clusters, i.e., Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs), fully integrated into the innovation, skills, and job ecosystem in green hydrogen and fuel cell technologies in the participating countries, and two support/associated CoVEs in France and Poland. The project foresees to continuously expand networks both locally and internationally throughout the several European regions and countries for people to exchange knowledge and profit from one another. The project expects also to internationalize its activities in North America via cooperation and partnership for VET opportunities and exchange programmes between the EU and Canada.

The end-use and applications of the H2Excellence project results can be use in fields as transportation, building heat and power and will have industrial uses.
