The digital transformation is changing our lives in all areas – deeply. To make the opportunities of digitalization accessible to all people, it is necessary to design educational materials taking into account all learners' needs. Within this context, we, at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Institute for Learning Innovation, are holding the "Zukunftwerkstatt 2024: Lebenslanges Lernen trifft auf digitale Bildung" on 15th May in Fürth, Germany. It is our Future Forward Workshop where lifelong learning meets digital education.

This event provides a platform to give digital education and lifelong learning a new importance and to promote an exchange between interested parties and stakeholders from different areas in adult education. This event focuses on concrete, practical pedagogical examples and shows you how to use them.

At the event, we will be showcasing the following EU projects:

• SmartHome4Seniors: Discover how smart home technologies enable seniors to keep learning, improving their digital skills and well-being.
• Sign4Change: Promote the integration of deaf children with us! Experience how digital education, combined with social innovation and deaf education, overcomes barriers and strengthens inclusion.
• SWEET HOME: Explore how smart home technology can enable people with various disabilities, such as Down syndrome, visual and hearing impairments, muscular dystrophy to live independently.

• Agile-2-VET: Innovate in vocational training! Learn how innovative digital training paves the way into the professional future by strenghtening the digital capacities of voctional training providers.
