EVA (E-learning Virtual Assistant): What if AI came to learn from us?

We often say that the best way to learn something is to teach it. That’s when we organize our ideas, anticipate questions, and truly consolidate knowledge.
But what if we looked at AI from a different perspective?Instead of being students of AI, what if we turned it into our apprentice?
Imagine each of us having a personal AI —let’s call it EVA— that we must teach: a skill, a language, or a complex concept. By taking on the responsibility of guiding EVA, we ourselves step into the most valuable role: becoming the teachers of our own learning journey.
Why does this matter?
Active protagonism: we stop consuming knowledge and start creating it by guiding EVA.
Deep learning: to teach, we first need to truly understand.
Constant metacognition: EVA’s questions, mistakes, and summaries act as a mirror, helping us reflect on our strategies and gaps.
Intelligent Education: technology with purposeThis approach fits within the vision of Intelligent Education: a human-centered paradigm where technology empowers autonomy, creativity, and critical thinking. It reminds us that AI should not replace our agency, but rather amplify it.
Maybe the future of learning with AI is not just about receiving answers, but about teaching another to find them.
So the real question is no longer what AI can teach us, but rather:
What are we ready to teach our AI?
I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
