Erasmus Plus KA203 Project - Becoming aware of Disabilty: Developinh a Curriculum Based on Cognitive Evolution in Higher Education

The main aim of “Becoming aware of Disabilty: Developinh a Curriculum Based on Cognitive Evolution in Higher Education” Erasmus + Project which started on 01.09.2019, is an is to create a curriculum that includes topics such as legal regulations, basic communication, sign language education, subtitled communication techniques, empathy, body language, comparative disability legislation and practices within the scope of tax legislation, administrative and criminal law that protect from discrimination. The project coordinator is Gaziantep University. The national partner of the project is Bursa Uludağ University, its transnational partners, Thessaly University (Greece) and Humanities Economics In Lodz University (Poland).
The basic modules of the education curriculum prepared within the scope of the project will also be included within the scope of the distance education module, and the accessibility of the information within the curriculum will be increased. In addition, it will be a priority for individuals with and without disabilities to better understand each other, to strengthen their social cohesion and communication with each other, to live in harmony by respecting the rights of persons with disabilities, to integrate disabled people into social life, and to develop awareness levels of the disabled and disabled. One of the main benefits of the curriculum to be prepared is to ensure that non-disabled students have information about disability and disability rights.
