EnVET: Enhancing Professional Development for VET Educators
The EnVET project, funded by Erasmus+, is a collaborative effort by DOMSPAIN (Spain), Law and Psychology (Bulgaria), and CES Academy (North Macedonia) to elevate the professional skills of educators in Vocational Education and Training (VET). This initiative aims to enrich the competencies of VET educators in work-based learning within digital environments, aligning with the European Education Area’s goals for high-quality education and the Osnabrück Declaration’s vision for VET’s role in digital and green economic recovery.
EnVET addresses the urgent need for upskilling VET educators, especially post-COVID-19, where digital readiness is paramount. As the labor market evolves, educators require tools to bridge classroom learning with real-world skills using digital platforms. The project supports educators in adapting their teaching for better employability outcomes for learners, focusing on digital competencies and practical applications.
Through the Training of Trainers, EnVET has created a comprehensive e-learning platform with six modules available in English, Bulgarian, Spanish, and Macedonian. These modules cover topics like digital teaching tools, VET educator-learner collaboration, and practical work-based learning methods. The l piloting phase has already garnered positive feedback, with participants expressing improved confidence in digital teaching. Additionally, many expressed interests in expanding the platform to support the inclusion of learners with disabilities in VET.
EnVET is committed to transforming VET education by equipping educators with the skills necessary to succeed in a digitally-oriented and evolving labor market.
