Empowering Seniors: SCOPE Project Progress & Training Launch

📢 Digital skills for seniors are more important than ever! That’s why we launched the SCOPE - Seniors Creating Digital Opportunities for Peer Empowerment project, bringing together partners from Poland (EDUQ) and Spain (Adiper) to support seniors in developing key digital competencies.
🟢 Project Timeline & Achievements So Far
✅ January 2025 – Project kick-off! We officially launched SCOPE under the Erasmus+ KA2 framework, setting the foundation for an innovative peer-to-peer learning model for seniors.
✅ February - March 2025 – Co-creation sessions with seniors! We engaged older adults in Poland and Spain in collaborative workshops to understand their needs, fears, and preferred learning methods for digital skills. This direct input helped us tailor the curriculum to their real-life challenges, such as using smartphones, making video calls, and staying safe online.
✅ March 2025 – Curriculum development completed! Based on the feedback from seniors, we designed an interactive, easy-to-follow training program with step-by-step guides, video tutorials, and practical exercises. The goal? To make learning digital tools accessible, engaging, and relevant to their daily lives.
✅ March 18, 2025 – Launch of Digital Ambassadors Training! This marks the official start of our senior-led peer learning model. A group of 20 seniors (10 from Poland and 10 from Spain) are now being trained not only in digital skills but also in mentoring techniques, preparing them to support other seniors in their communities.
💡 What’s Next? The Digital Ambassadors Training will continue over the next weeks, focusing on key digital competencies. After that, each Ambassador will mentor at least two additional seniors, expanding the impact of our project.
🔜 Stay tuned for updates on our progress, challenges, and success stories!
