For more than 65 years, Public Open University Čakovec has opened its doors to all those who wanted to embark on a lifelong learning journey. Our learners came from the city of Čakovec, our green region Međimurje County, and beyond to partake in learning and training activities of various kinds. For the past decade, POU Čakovec has also been actively involved in numerous EU projects, which we have reported about EPALE as well. Today, we are announcing the start of a new chapter in POU Čakovec's history. 

Taking all the expertise, knowledge, and experience gathered from providing education to local participants and adding the European dimension we experienced first-hand through the projects we implemented and numerous European organizations we cooperated with, we are proud to announce POU Courses, an educational initiative aimed at international learners, all available and financed under the Erasmus+ grant.

Our initial offering includes over 50 courses across 7 categories:

• Classroom Mastery and Soft Skills
• ICT, AI, and Emerging Technologies
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity
• Languages, Art, and Creativity
• Mental Health and Well-being
• Environment and Culture

All courses can be modified to fit your learning needs and educational interests, including the creation of custom courses.
