AEI Studium Employees Skills Development through Erasmus+

During the past 18 months, Adult Education Institution Studium from Croatia has participated in an Erasmus+ KA122 ADU project "Entrepreneurship and Continuous Improvement in AEI Studium through the development of our Digital and Entrepreneurial Skills". Six employees were included in two one week courses in Inercia Digital in Huelva, Spain and this is how Anamarija and Filip, described their experiences.
As part of the Erasmus+KA1 project Entrepreneurship and Continuous Improvement in AEI Studium, whose coordinator is the Adult Education Institution Studium, and the partner Inercia Digital from Spain, we took part in a five-day education called Collaborative tools for teamwork. The training took place from June 6 to 10 in Huelva, Spain. In addition to employees of our Institution, the training was also attended by employees of the Association Community from France and the Telšiai Deaf and Hard of Hearing Society from Lithuania. Given that people from diff
erent places and cultures gathered in one place, an excellent opportunity was created for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practice examples. During the training, we had the opportunity to try out different digital tools for collaboration and highly interactive tools for communication with participants and colleagues (e.g. Padlet, Genially, Trello, Slack, Mentimeter, Canva, Google Suite). Through all these activities, we also had the opportunity to improve our teamwork skills. During our stay in Huelva we visited the University of Huelva and the pedagogical museum of the university, which gave us a better insight into the Spanish education system. The training was concluded with a meeting of project teams for the purpose of developing new project ideas in order to continue the existing successful partnership between the institutions.

On the 12th of September, three of us arrived in Huelva to participate in the course «Virtual Campus, The E-Learning System» organized by Inercia Digital. It was my first KA1 course and I didn’t know what to expect, but a nice and warm welcome by Cristina and our lecturer Isabel has cleared all my concerns. They introduced their organization and showed us the beautiful city of Huelva. Also, their recommendations for restaurants were just perfect. We have learned a lot about
using digital tools such as Moodle and H5P in e-learning. Creating our own content for e-learning and learning how to use it efficiently was probably the most important part of our work and I can say that this knowledge will definitely help me in the future. My favourite part is probably visiting CADE – an organization that offers free business tutoring and helps new entrepreneurs start their own businesses and offers them completely free business hosting. I believe that we need more organizations like this to help people to achieve their potential All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I would recommend to everyone to come here, see this city and meet these beautiful people.
