Disability in the workplace – removing barriers to recruitment and progression, creating inclusive workplace cultures, and next steps for policy and organisational practice

The Westminster Business Forum will be holding the Disability in the Workplace seminar in London on Tuesday 21 January 2020. The main aims of the event are to discuss ways to remove barriers to recruitment and progression, create inclusive workplace cultures and to consider next steps for addressing related policy and organisational practice. I am president of a Consortium in Italy dealing with certified saffron production and we are available to develop any kind of collaboration in planning and implementing projects.

I am also very expert in Erasmus+ projects, as I worked for 7 years in the Italian Erasmus+ NA and currently at university as project manager in Erasmus+ projects.

We are already developing project at local base with people with learning disabilities, with young people, with adult learners in order to attract more people and enhance the development of our rural area.

Nevladina organizacija „Ekvivalent“ u partnerstvu sa nevladinom organizacijom „Sjeverna zemlja“ iz Berana započinje realizaciju projekta pod nazivom „Entrepreneurship Development and Equal Opportunity Program (EDEOP) for people with disabilities and disadvantaged (rural) women“ koji je finansijski podržan od strane Američke ambasade u Podgorici.

Arts and Disability Ireland and The John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Office of VSA and Accessibility are proud to announce a call for proposals for a unique European Summit titled From Access to Inclusion 2020 taking place from 11th -14th May in Dublin, Ireland.

DESCRIPTION of the project

El proyecto DigiAdults (2019-1-PL1-KA204-065528) pretende explorar y evaluar el impacto del uso de Internet y herramientas digitales en grupos de estudiantes en riesgo de exclusión social, con el objetivo de extraer conclusiones que sirvan para los formadores involucrados en la educación formal, no formal e informal, y generar de esta manera, mejoras en las prácticas, a la vez que se tiene un estudio detallado de los casos.

The Positive Action Employability Programme offers adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to secure paid permanent jobs within a range of posts across the Belfast Health Trust. Belfast Metropolitan College was pivotal in the delivery of this 14-week programme with the support of Belfast Health Trust staff. Throughout the programme the trainees underwent continual assessment and feedback supported by their Tutor, Patient & Client Support Services staff and their Employment Support Officers. As a result, nine trainees graduated from the programme and will now be offered paid employment from available posts within Patient & Client Support Services across the Trust.

Tampereen kaupungin työllisyys- ja kasvupalveluissa on ollut muutaman vuoden käytössä Osaamisbotti-palvelu. Tekoälyä hyödyntävä palvelu tunnistaa työnhakijan osaamisen ja vahvuudet, motivoi työnhaussa sekä ehdottaa käyttäjälle sopivia työpaikkoja.

EPALE har varit på Värmdö Kommun och lyssnat på Kerstin Gatu när hon berättar om sina kurser i digital delaktighet för personer med måttlig utvecklingsstörning på Mora folkhögskola. Kerstin Gatu driver nu en fortsättningskurs "Digijag" som bygger på kursen "Anpassad IT-vägen till digital delaktighet". Båda kurserna har fått medel från allmänna arvsfonden.

NEUROANDRAGÓGIA A KIREKESZTÉS ELLEN

A „NEUROANDRAGÓGIA A KIREKESZTÉS ELLEN” című projektet a lengyelországi Społeczna Akademia Nauk (Társadalomtudományi Egyetem, Lodz) koordinálja, Ausztria, Csehország, Görögország, az Egyesült Királyság és Magyarország részvételével. A projekt célja, hogy alkalmazza a neurodidaktika felnőttoktatásra vonatkozó legújabb ismereteit a hátrányos helyzetű csoportok támogatására (ideértve a munkanélkülieket, az 50 év felettieket, a fogyatékosságot, a bevándorlókat, az alacsonyan képzett embereket, a fejletlenebb régiókból származókat, stb), hogy ösztönözzék őket az egész életen át tartó tanulás folyamatában.

Lärandet innebär dock väsentligt större utmaningar om man har en funktionsvariation, vilken medför att det finns en svårighet att ta in ny info, bearbeta och förankra densamma och sedan kunna använda den. Det kan också finnas en minnesproblematik kopplad till funktionsvariationen. Läraren fungerar här som en möjlig-görare för att öka elevens KASAM (Känsla Av Sammanhang) och känsla av att vara en kunnig medborgare.

Quality Social Services: a Key to Implement the European Pillar of Social Rights

The European Pillar of Social Rights was “proclaimed” by all EU member states, the European Parliament and Commission in November 2017 and is considered a significant initiative in the social field at EU level; according to the European Commission, contributing to “Building a more inclusive and fairer European Union”. It contains “principles and rights essential for fair and well-functioning labour markets and welfare systems in 21st century Europe”, and actions should be taken to implement it at national and EU level. Social Services Europe, in which EPR is an active member, developed the position paper ‘The Role of Social Services in the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights’ in 2018. The paper highlights the importance of these services in achieving the principles in the pillar, and in addition stresses “The effectiveness of the principles described in the Pillar is conditional to the provision of quality services”. The event will take place in Brussels over one and a half days and will include plenary sessions with national and European experts, workshops addressing key issues for quality social service provision, an exchange of best practices and discussion of EU initiatives on quality in the sector.

Employment represents one of the fundamental elements to guarantee economic security, social inclusion, personal satisfaction and a good quality of life. However, job placement can be particularly difficult, especially for some disadvantaged groups, like people with disabilities. In recent years, Job Coaches tried to support their labour inclusion. However, skills required to Job Coaches are very complex and the effectiveness of their intervention difficult to guarantee. How can companies end employers be involved in the job placement process? How to involve peers? How can supported employment provide effective solutions? What tools are available to Job Coaches?

Konferencja Nierówna edukacja. Forum wymiany myśli i doświadczeń

IDEA KONFERENCJI:

"Nasze forum jest otwarte dla osób zajmujących się teorią, badaniami i praktyką. Zapraszamy przedstawicieli nauk pedagogicznych, jak również innych dyscyplin: socjologii, psychologii, filozofii, kulturoznawstwa, historii, nauk prawnych. Zależy nam na obecności przedstawicielek i przedstawicieli szkół wszystkich szczebli i rodzajów, także instytucji kształcenia specjalnego, przedstawicieli przedszkoli i uniwersytetów trzeciego wieku.

Druga radionica po redu na temu “Inkluzivno zapošljavanje osoba sa invaliditetom: Izazovi i benefiti” održana je 02. 10. 2019. godine u Banja Luci. Ovoga puta javni poziv na radionicu je bio upućen potencijalnim poslodavcima iz lokalnih samouprava i državnih institucija, te nevladinim organizacijama kojima nije primarni cilj rad sa osobama sa invaliditetom.

 

 

Prva od dvije planirane radionice pod nazivom ''Inkluzivno zapošljavanje osoba sa invaliditetom: Izazovi i benefiti'' održana je 19. 09. 2019. godine u Sarajevu. Petnaest učesnika iz lokalnih samouprava, institucija i nevladinih organizacija iz Foče, Zenice, Sarajeva, Tuzle, Gruda, Bijeljine, Banja Luke i Mostara, uzelo je aktivnog učešća i pokazalo izraziti interes za pitanja vezana za inkluzivno zapošljavanje.

Rola mężczyzny w życiu dziecka jest niezastąpiona, nawet, gdy nie zawsze jest to biologiczny tata. W życiu niepełnosprawnego dziecka ta rola ma szczególne znaczenie. Bohater drugiego planu, pozornie nieobecny. Zajmuje się zarabianiem pieniędzy, naprawami i innymi „męskimi sprawami”, nie zawsze angażując się w życie niepełnosprawnego dziecka. Nie dlatego, że nie chce, ale dlatego, że nie zawsze wie jak.
Chcąc zaktywizować ojców, dziadków, wujków, braci i opiekunów Stowarzyszenie Rodzin i Przyjaciół Osób z Autyzmem „Szklany Mur” w Piekarach Śląskich napisało projekt „Pokazuj mi świat, Tato!”. Jego celem było także poznanie rozwiązań stosowanych w Hiszpanii w zakresie pracy z rodzinami osób z autyzmem.

Svjetski dan borbe protiv Alchajmerove bolesti prvi put je obilježen 21. septembra 1994. godine, kada su se udruženja za borbu protiv ove bolesti i druge organizacije širom svijeta ujedinile u naporima da se podigne svijest o bolesti i njenom uticaju na porodice, zajednice i nacije.

U svijetu od Alchajmerove bolesti boluje oko 18 miliona osoba, a nažalost, taj broj se svakodnevno povećava.
