The EPALE Resource Centre is a bank of materials that will help keep you up to date with adult education best practices and reference documents.

We publish case studies of innovative adult education approaches, reports and policy documents as well as magazine and newspaper articles.

You will also be able to find open education resources as well as training and learning materials so you will always have access to the best tools to help you in your everyday work.

 

How to use the Resource Centre

There are several ways to browse and search the EPALE Resource Centre:

    The newest content is at the top of the page so you can easily stay up to date with the most recent developments in the sector.

  2. Search
    Go straight to a specific resource by typing the title, author or keyword in the search box.

  3. Filter
    Filter by type of resource, theme, tags, country, author and language. Relevant resources will be listed to the left of the page.

Outdoor education and outdoor coaching as a tool to boost employability | ReACT project

Twelve participants from six different countries embarked in a voyage of discoveries during a study visit in Latvia. During the study visit, representatives from Adventure Spirit (Piedzīvojuma Gars) shared main concepts, methodologies, and tools that organization use on an everyday basis working with the target group of young adults to support them in their development, understanding their values, strengths, increase overall cooperation, communication and enhance their ability to create their own workplaces or find a workplace fitting to their needs and skills.

Recommendations for Involving Adults from Disadvantaged Backgrounds in Education

The strategic partnership project ODEon (Nr. 2016-1-LV01-KA204-022704) focused on adults from disadvantaged backgrounds, namely, disabled persons, migrants, persons from remote rural areas from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, etc. The project partners - Kurzeme Planning Region (Latvia), Organization for the Promotion of European Issues, OPEI (Cyprus), and a theatre NUCLEO (Italy) – shared their experience on working with these target groups.
