RegioDev
RegioDev was founded in the heart of the district of Veľký Krtíš, in the Hont and Novohrad region of Slovakia- middle south, heart of Slovakia, which are known for their rich history and traditions. This region is a living example of diversity, cultureand strong local identity, which are an integral part of our work. However, our visionis to gradually expand to other regions, remembering that each place has a uniqueculture and identity that deserves to be preserved and supported. RegioDev, as a civic association -NGO- we founded at the beginning of 2024, and it was created with a clear goal - to support the comprehensive development of regions of Slovakia.
We believe that every aspect of a region, from employment to transport, from education to integration and digitalisation, deserves equal attention and support. We place great emphasis on people - their stories, their values and their needs. We believe that every community has its own potential and strength, so we always tryto tailor our approach to development to the specific circumstances, focusing on ahuman approach and mutual understanding. Our work is based on the principles ofcollaboration, education and the promotion of sustainable development, underpinnedby the values of solidarity, inclusion and respect.
Our work is not limited to one area. We work with all generations - from young people, for whom we offer opportunities for non-formal learning and personal growth to foreign exchanges, to seniors, who can learn new skills and become actively involved in the life of the community. Our activities also focus on promoting sustainability and inclusion, where we see huge potential in working with differentminority groups, such as minorities, including Hungarian and Roma communities. Webelieve that the development of education, digitalization, employment, cultural andsocial integration and sustainability is key to a strong, prosperous society. That's whywe strive to create opportunities that help improve quality of life, create new jobs,foster regional cooperation and take into account all the needs of our communities. .Finally, we champion European values, believing in the ideals of a united Europe andadvocating for democracy, freedom, inclusivity, and respect for human rights
