OpenCom i.s.s.c.
OpenCom is a research centre and training organization, located in Arezzo (Tuscany, Italy), active in non-formal and work-related training, social research and accountability improvement, project management, quality management, risk management and knowledge management. We are skilled in the elaboration of innovative professional frameworks, which respond to the new trends of the labor market and provide individuals with skills that foster their employability. Our Multimedia Lab Department provides support in embedding Artificial Intelligence in projects.
We are members of Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASVIS) and we are Accredited Training Organisation for Project Management, PRINCE2 method and we train people worldwide. All our staff members are certified project managers PRINCE2 Foundation level, since project management is a mindset and an organizational culture. Since 2024, we are also members of Pact for Skills and the European School of Sustainability Science and Research (ESSSR) Networking.
In 2025, we joined the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).
We use Active Learning Methodologies in order to enhance independent learning, lifelong learning, critical and systematic thinking of individuals, supporting their sustainable employability and career development.
We are certified ISO 9001:2015 for Design and Provision of Training Services, with certificate n. 401Q, accredited Regional Civil Service Organisation at Tuscany Region with Accreditation N. RT3C00644, and accredited European Solidarity Corps for activities of voluntary, traineeship and job with Accreditation N. 2018-1-IT03-ESC52-015388.
We have a network of more than 850 partners in 52 countries Worldwide.
We have agreements with various Universities in Italy, Spain and Latin America and we can involve them as partners in the projects.
Since its foundation, OpenCom has been coordinator or partner of more than 100 European funded projects.
