The Qualifica Centre of APCC - Associação de Paralisia Cerebral de Coimbra is a centre specialised in adult qualification, dedicated to providing information, advice and referrals to education and professional training offers for adults seeking a qualification.
The APCC´s Qualifica Centre has an application approved under the Programa Operacional Capital Humano (POCH), with an operation supported by the European Social Fund (ESF). The management, monitoring and regulation of the Qualifica Centres network is the responsibility of ANQEP, I. P. – Agência Nacional para a Qualificação e o Ensino Profissional (National Agency for Qualification and Vocational Education and Training), as an Intermediate Body. It is part of the Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (Recovery and Resilience Plan - PRR), through the recent Acelerador Qualifica measure.
At the Qualifica Centre of the Associação de Paralisia Cerebral de Coimbra (Coimbra Cerebral Palsy Association), candidates can obtain a school certification at a basic level (equivalent to the 4th, 6th and 9th grades of schooling) or at secondary level (equivalent to the 12th grade), through the development of the Processos de Reconhecimento, Validação e Certificação de Competências Escolares (Processes for Recognition, Validation and Certification of School Competencies - School RVCC ) based on the demonstration of lifelong learning and competences taking into account their personal, professional and social experiences.
The Qualifica Centre of the Coimbra Cerebral Palsy Association (APCC) is characterised as an inclusive project, recognised by ANQEP, by applying differentiated methodologies in the work with people with disabilities and in a disadvantaged situation.
The APCC´s Qualifica Centre also stands out for the development of activities in recognised companies in the region, similar entities and on a roaming regime, responding throughout the national territory, in the field of disability and incapacity.
