The 10th EU elections are around the corner and the European Union will come to elect their representatives on the 6-9 June 2024. To arrive fully equipped for D-Day, the European Parliament has published a new educational toolkit for teachers and educators. For many young adults, it will be their first time as voters in this kind of election. 

To bring everyone to vote, the European Parliament made available a toolkit that provides easy access to educational resources that explain the benefits of the European Union, the role of the European Parliament and the importance of voting. 

It helps teachers and educators address the most common questions:

• Why should I care about voting?

• How does the EU impact my life?

• What is the role of the European Parliament and how does it work?

• Once I have voted, how can I continue to make my voice heard?

• How can I inform myself properly and identify misleading or false information?

• How can I take action?

To make things easier, the toolkit has been translated and is available in all 24 official EU languages. After all, voting is the pinnacle of a democracy we treasure.
