Εκδηλώσεις Ημερολόγιο

Καλωσορίσατε στο νέο ημερολόγιο της EPALE! Το εργαλείο αυτό σχεδιάστηκε και υλοποιήθηκε με γνώμονα εσάς. Εδώ θα αναρτώνται μείζονος σημασίας εκδηλώσεις του τομέα μάθησης ενηλίκων, καθώς και ευκαιρίες κατάρτισης και συνέδρια σε ολόκληρη την Ευρώπη που απευθύνονται σε επαγγελματίες του τομέα εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων. Όσο η EPALE αναπτύσσεται, θα προστίθενται περισσότερες εκδηλώσεις στο ημερολόγιο.

Ελπίζουμε και στη δική σας συμβολή. Τους επόμενους μήνες θα μπορείτε να αναρτήσετε τις εκδηλώσεις σας και να προσελκύσετε την προσοχή κοινού από ολόκληρη την Ευρώπη.

Χρήση του ημερολογίου

Μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε το ημερολόγιο για να αναζητήσετε συγκεκριμένες εκδηλώσεις, ή να πραγματοποιήσετε αναζήτηση ανά χώρα, γλώσσα εκδήλωσης, θέμα, ημερομηνία, ομάδα στόχο και τύπο εκδήλωσης που επιθυμείτε να παρακολουθήσετε. Πατήστε επάνω στο αντικείμενο/στοιχείο ημερολογίου για να δείτε όλες τις πληροφορίες σχετικά με τη συγκεκριμένη εκδήλωση.

Η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή δεν μπορεί να θεωρηθεί υπεύθυνη για την ακύρωση των όποιων εκδηλώσεων εμφανίζονται στο ημερολόγιο της EPALE. Leadership & management in educational establishements

Schools and Establishment leadership have become a priority in education policy agendas internationally. This area plays a key role in improving organisational outcomes by influencing the motivations and capacities of staff teams, as well as the climate and environment. Effective organisational leadership is essential to improve the efficiency and equity in Education at all levels. As countries are seeking to adapt their education systems to the needs of contemporary society, expectations for educational establishments and organisational leaders are changing. Many countries have moved towards decentralisation, making establishments more autonomous in their decision making and holding them more accountable for results. At the same time, the requirement to improve overall student performance while serving more diverse student populations is adding pressure to use more evidence-based practices. Because of these trends, the function of organisational leadership is now increasingly defined by a demanding set of roles which include financial and human resource management and leadership for learning. There are concerns across countries that the role of leaders as conceived for needs of the past is no longer appropriate. In many countries, they have heavy workloads; many are reaching retirement and it is getting harder to replace them. Potential candidates often hesitate to apply, because of overburdened roles, insufficient preparation and training, limited career prospects and inadequate support and rewards. These developments have made organisational leadership a priority in education systems across the world.

ICT skills for Educators

Computing and IT is required by all businesses and jobs in today’s world. Information and Communication technology (ICT) has the potentialict_3 to transform teaching and learning processes. According to a recent study in OECD countries, students are more sophisticated in their use of technology than teachers; an inherent discrepancy between student knowledge and usage of ICTs with the abilities of teacher to use ICTs. This suggest that teacher inexperience and skill deficiencies may often be a fundamental factor which prevents the effectiveness of ICT use in education. The same study reveals that the most effective uses of ICT are those in which the teacher, aided by ICTs, may challenge understanding and thinking of pupils, and this can be done through whole-class discussions and/or individual/small group workshops using ICTs. Nowadays, it is widely accepted that the use of ICTs should not aim at completely transforming teacher practices in and of itself but rather enabling and supporting the move from traditional ‘teacher-centric’ teaching styles to more ‘learner-centric’ methods. In other words, making each one of the students active and fully engaged. The ‘ICT skills for Educators’ course is designed to enable participants to improve their teaching practices with the use of specific ICT tools, such as smart boards, web conferencing and webinars, among others, thus, creating a ‘learner-centric’ classroom. This is an ideal course for all teachers, educators & trainers interested in continuing professional development (CPD).

My Compass is an online training designed and delivered by NumericALL. The training begins on 30th November and ends on 22 January (with a two-week break around the festive season). The training hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and takes place online over six weeks. The Monday and Tuesday classes will be delivered by trainers who are professionals from various web professions, and the Friday class will be run by a career and employabilty coach.
