The value of validation of prior learning in working life

How to evaluate learning that does not lead to a formal qualification? In this free webinar we will hear about RARPA-process which measures progress and achievement of students on non-accredited learning programmes in the UK. The majority of such courses are in the adult and community learning sector.
This is the second in a series of five Upskilling Pathways webinars and has been coordinated by the Learning & Work Institute. These webinars are connected to the three steps of the Upskilling Pathways (UP) initiative:
- Skills assessment
- Tailor-made learning offer
- Validation and recognition of skills
The webinars will present good practices of skills development in the UP-AEPRO-partner countries (Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Portugal, Sweden and the UK). Participants are invited to share their experiences in their own work context (country, organisation, project, daily work etc). The feedback will be used for bottom-up evaluation of the UP initiative. You can read more on the EAEA website.
