Partner Search – Erasmus+ KA210 Adult Education

Project: AMA Europa – A World Without Asbestos

Applicant organisation: SpainAction: Erasmus+ KA210 – Adult EducationDuration: 18 monthsBudget: 60.000 €Countries involved: Spain – Portugal – ItalyProject focus: Environmental education, adult learning, asbestos risk awareness

Project overview

AMA Europa – A World Without Asbestos is an Erasmus+ KA210 Adult Education project addressing a critical environmental and public health challenge in Europe: the low level of environmental literacy among adults regarding the risks of asbestos in residential and community spaces.

Despite its ban, asbestos remains present in millions of buildings constructed before prohibition, particularly in Southern Europe. Many adults are exposed without adequate knowledge to identify risks or act safely. The project responds to this need through accessible, practical and visual adult education, empowering adults to recognise asbestos-related risks and engage responsibly at community level.

The project is fully aligned with the Green Erasmus priority, the European Green Deal and adult education priorities, combining environmental awareness, civic participation and inclusive learning approaches.

Target groups

  • Adults living in buildings potentially containing asbestos

  • Adults with low levels of environmental literacy

  • Adults with fewer opportunities

  • Community members involved in local safety and environmental action

Type of partners sought

We are currently seeking one or two committed partner organisations from Erasmus+ Programme Countries, such as:

  • Environmental associations or NGOs with expertise in environmental risks

  • Adult education providers (formal or non-formal)

  • Organisations working in environmental awareness, community safety or public health education

  • Training centres experienced in inclusive adult learning

  • Local or regional organisations involved in environmental education

Previous Erasmus+ experience is welcome but not mandatory. Strong thematic expertise and commitment are essential.

Expected role of partners

Partners will actively contribute to:

  • Environmental diagnosis and contextual analysis

  • Development of accessible educational materials

  • Implementation of adult learning activities (workshops, webinars)

  • Quality assurance and evaluation

  • Dissemination and sustainability actions at local and European level

The partnership will be balanced, ethical and cooperative, with clear roles and shared responsibility.

Why join this project

  • Address a high-impact environmental and public health issue

  • Contribute to Green Erasmus and environmental citizenship

  • Work on a realistic, well-structured KA210 project

  • Be part of a transnational network focused on adult education and sustainability

  • Lay the groundwork for future European cooperation (KA220)

Interested organisations are invited to contact us with a short presentation of their organisation, relevant experience and motivation to participate.
