On April 30, 2025, ANCV will lead a special technical visit with the 11 Erasmus students to one of Porto’s most iconic green rooftops: Praça das Oliveiras, located right in front of the famous Lello Bookstore.

But the tour begins with a climb—up the Clérigos Tower, an 18th-century architectural masterpiece by Nicolau Nasoni. From this panoramic viewpoint, students will explore how historic architecture and green innovation can coexist in harmony.

Praça das Oliveiras is not just a visually stunning public space—it’s a symbol of sustainable urban revitalization. Designed to enhance the aesthetic and ecological value of downtown Porto, it has quickly become one of the city’s most visited landmarks.

This visit will offer students a chance to analyze how landscape design can reshape the urban experience—fostering wellbeing, tourism, and sustainability. A moment to learn, reflect, and view the city from a greener perspective.
