Eight resources with project materials on EPALE

The EPALE team went through our rich Resource Centre and selected eight resources containing useful project materials and findings. These adult learning projects contain useful methodologies for teachers and trainers, as well as many good practices.

The EPALE team went through our rich Resource Centre and selected eight resources containing useful project materials and findings. These adult learning projects contain useful methodologies for teachers and trainers, as well as many good practices.

 

 

1. Grundtvig project "Initial literacy in a social context" - a "success story"

Selected as a ‘success story’, this project mainly aimed at creating an opportunity to share best practices in the field of adult literacy and basic skills training of disadvantaged learners who need to improve themselves socially and culturally.

 

2. iRemember project: Training for Facilitators for intergenerational and intercultural laboratories

The iRemember project experimented in 6 European countries "Laboratories of memory", consisting of intergenerational activities (seniors, teachers, young students), aimed at updating the teachers/trainers’ skills and improving the non-formal learning of history in schools. The project has produced a useful training path for tutors and teachers.

 

3. Methods Project Five communicative language teaching methods

Methods delivered manuals with descriptions of five communicative language teaching methods complete with teaching materials ready to use in classes.

 

 

4. Raising Achievement for All Learners – Key Project Messages

The RA4AL aimed to address the ways in which inclusive policy and practice can raise the achievement of all learners. You can find the project’s key messages (in 22 languages) including the project’s main findings and recommendations.

 

5. Take Care Project: Healthcare Language Guide for Migrants – best practices

The aims of The Take Care Project are to help migrants gain language skills about health matters in a new language and improve their integration. The project has compiled a list of good practices from across Europe.

 

6. TRAIN project: Professional Development in the field of Literacy and Basic Education Country reports

The TRAIN partnership developed a compendium with country reports providing state-of-the-art professional development in thirteen different European countries.

 

7. Video in the project FINALLY – Financial literacy for a better quality of life

The project Finally - Financial literacy for Roma is a partnership of six organizations. They recorded a video about how a specific training program in the field of financial training was developed.

 

 

8. Website of the project 'pArt: take part in Art'

The project combined a variety of artistic activities with an educational background. The project’s website contains a lot of useful information, including artistic activities and techniques.
