Course Description
The INNOMATH project has developed new methodologies for supporting gifted pupils in mathematics of age 10-18, which can be used inside and outside any school environment.This course helps to guide and provide the necessary tools for teachers to enrich their competence for supporting gifted pupils inside and outside the classroom environment. It also supports teachers in dealing with diversity in the classroom, adopting collaborative and innovative practices and support schools to tackle disadvantage and to offer quality education, enabling success for all students, from the LOWEST to the HIGHEST end of the academic spectrum.
It includes hands-on development of Learning Plans and more elements that teachers need in order to include the gifted pupils in the development of their Learning.
The course consists of the following modules:
Module 1. Access and use of INNOMATH project findings, MID Day model and Supporting Talented students with advanced maths (access to Learning Plans)
Module 2. Inquiry Based Learning
Module 3. Discovery Based Learning
Module 4. Problem Solving Methods
Module 5. Project based learning and project work Methodology
Module 6. Presentation and Communication Skills
Module 7. Raising the entrepreneurial mind set in school students through learning activities
Module 8. Evolution of Education 1.0 to 4.0 , Future Schools
Module 9. Cloud Computing and Cloud Education Leadership
Module 10. Cooperative Learning for teachers and students
