NETworks4inclusion - Local networks for social intervention

NETworks4inclusion | Erasmus+ Project - 2022-1-FROI-KA220-ADU-000087297
After two successful years of project implementation, the regular working schedule of NETworks4inclusion is being subbed out in favour of its long-term sustainability and exploitation plan. Consortium partners are extremely pleased with the results they have delivered, and feedback from key stakeholders has been almost universally positive. In this article we will provide an overview of the project, its deliverables, and its anticipated long-term impact.
NETworks4inclusion launched in late 2022, bringing together seven partner organisations from France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, and Ireland. This consortium had identified a common trend across Europe: there is potential for effective social intervention if public and private entities can be directed to utilise existing local resources. From here, individuals and organisations can be further mobilised to form networks of interested parties, all of whom contribute to the strengthening of social cohesion. Action in this context can positively impact a number of potential areas including safety, food insecurity, health, social isolation, and many more. For more general information on NETworks4inclusion, consider visiting the project website.
At the heart of NETworks4inclusion’s success was the delivery of its outputs. The project partners decided to create a central eLearning Portal from which all deliverables could be accessed. These include:
1. Guide for Social Intervention
A dynamic, participatory resource that presents the social reality in each partner country.
2. Training Course and Handbook on Social Development Strategy
A curriculum for adult educators and community workers offering information on social intervention in cases of poverty and social exclusion.
3. Best Practices Toolkit
An action plan for professionals and those seeking social support that presents crucial advice and informative case studies.
Each of the resources mentioned above are informed by quality research and topic-specific expertise, comprising a mix of theory and readily applicable activities to further engage learners. For enhanced convenience and engagement, templates and annexes associated with each are presented on the eLearning Portal for users to download and use for their own professional applications.
As well as producing these high-quality resources, the NETworks4inclusion project generated several noteworthy events including productive transnational meetings, piloting sessions, a training course in Italy, and multiplier events. All of these occasions contributed to the widespread dissemination of the project, allowing the consortium to reach a high number of key stakeholders and familiarise them with its deliverables.
Accordingly, we anticipate that the NETworks4inclusion project will continue to resonate with existing resource users, but the story doesn’t end here. At the outset of the project, consortium members agreed on the adoption of a Sustainability and Exploitation plan that will see NETworks4inclusion’s outputs remain available for years to come. It is our hope that continued promotion by the organisations involved in the project’s implementation, as well as the individuals who have been using its deliverables up to this point, will allow NETworks4inclusion to go from strength to strength long after the submission of the final report.
