The Ministry of Justice will be awarding £54m in funding for regions in England to develop Resettlement Hubs that will provide offenders with a safe space to build media, arts, crafts and sports skills and immerse themselves in non-formal methods of learning with the ultimate aim of reducing the risk of reoffending on release. Both offenders that have served sentences in custody and those that have served community sentences are eligible to participate. Funding will be awarded in late 2020 and contracts will run from 2021 to 2023.

CEPA San Bartolomé de Tirajana is looking for K1 Jobshadowing

We are an Adult Centre in The South of the beautiful island of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. We are at the moment planning a K1 project as part of an organization of three Main Adults Educational Centres in the South of Gran Canaria. We are looking for partners to develop our jobshadowing for our K1 project based mainly in the integration and inclusion of our students in our current society and culture. We focus in the integration of all type of students, such as immigrants from different nationalities, adults without the compulsory secondary education, unemployed students with little or none economical resources, and also integration of our students who are in the penitentiary centre of the South of Gran Canaria. We are also wiling to be your host in your K1 or K2 Projects.

La mayoría de las investigaciones han demostrado que hay al menos 1 de cada 3 personas en prisión que tienen una o más dificultades o discapacidades de aprendizaje. La maggior parte delle ricerche ha dimostrato che ci sono almeno 1 persona su 3 in carcere con una o più difficoltà di apprendimento e / o disabilità. Sotto questo ombrello sono state incluse diverse condizioni come il Disturbo da deficit di attenzione e iperattività (ADHD), il Disturbo dello spettro autistico (ASD), la Dislessia, la Disprassia (noto anche come Disturbo del coordinamento dello sviluppo) (DCD) o Discalculia, Disturbi del linguaggio dello sviluppo (DLD) e Difficoltà di apprendimento. Mentre spesso si considera ogni condizione in isolamento, la realtà è che spesso si sovrappongono e quindi ogni persona avrà un modello unico di punti di forza e sfide. Fino ad ora è stato difficile fornire un mezzo pratico per identificare i bisogni e fornire supporto pratico. Utilizzando la neuroscienza e la tecnologia, questo ora può essere raggiunto.

Mindestens eine von drei Personen im Gefängnis leidet an Lernschwierigkeiten oder hat eine Lernbehinderung. Hierunter fallen verschiedene Erkrankungen wie Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit-Hyperaktivitätsstörung (ADHS) oder Legasthenie. Tatsächlich ist es aber so, dass jeder Mensch ein einzigartiges Potential an Stärken und Schwächen mitbringt. Während es bisland schwierig war, ein praktisches Mittel zur Ermittlung des Bedarfs und zur Bereitstellung praktischer Unterstützung bereitzustellen, ist dies mithilfe der Neurowissenschaften und neuer Technologien nun möglich.

Studia da adulto, diventa grande: workshop a Pescara su educazione degli adulti, politiche europee e territorio

“Studia da adulto, diventa grande” è un workshop  su educazione degli adulti, politiche europee e territorio organizzato dall'Istituto Tecnico Statale Aterno-Manthonè di Pescara, il CPIA di Pescara-Chieti (link is external)e l'Associazione Culturale SmartLab Europe con il supporto dell'Unità EPALE Italia-INDIRE.

Il ricco cartellone dello storico appuntamento di sport sociale e per tutti, denominato "Le Porte Aperte - Auguri dallo Sport", organizzato dalla UISP (Unione Nazionale Sport per tutti) presso l'Istituto Penale per Minorenni di Bari nel lungo periodo delle festività natalizie, ha visto una grande novità nell'anno appena trascorso.

Si è concluso nel mese di dicembre il progetto Sostegno e Condivisione, realizzato dall'Associazione di promozione sociale Sognatore nel deserto ONLUS.

Promosso dal Garante delle persone ristrette della Regione Campania e dal Consiglio Regionale della Campania, si è svolto in tre istituti: la Casa di Reclusione "G.B.Novelli" di Carinola, la Casa Circondariale di Vallo della Lucania e nel Centro Penitenziario "P.Mandato-Secondigliano" di Napoli.
L'iniziativa rientra nell'art 27.3 della nostra Costituzione e dello stesso Ordinamento Penitenziario.

Il 14 febbraio si terrà a Pescara un workshop su educazione degli adulti, politiche europee e territorio organizzato dall'Istituto Tecnico Statale Aterno-Manthonè di Pescara, il CPIA di Pescara-Chieti e l'Associazione Culturale SmartLab Europe. On going project looking for a jobshadowing partner

"Parts" is a project organized by Cultiv and seeks host organizations for jobshadowing. As you can read in detail in the following paragraphs, our focus is on organizations that work with children and families of prisoners, with a special interest in those who use the arts, books, and culture as tools for this work.

Using art and culture in social inclusion

We are availible to be partners in projects related working with art and culture as tools for social inclusion. We are especially interested in projects related to the prison population and / or social exclusion, also focusing on parenting education issues.

Looking for partner in a KA 104 European Plus project, job shadowing in Adult Education

This is the CPIA Cremona (Provincial Centre for Education and Training in Adult Age), a state school open to Italian and foreign citizens from 16 years old. The school is based in northern Italy. Our locations are in Cremona, Crema and Casalmaggiore. We also operate in the prison of Cremona, which houses about 500 immates.

We offer:

language and social integration courses for foreigners;

courses aimed to achieve the degree at the end of the first and second cycle of education;

El Día contra la Violencia de Género es una efeméride muy relevante en un CEPA. En las aulas penitenciarias de "Fuerte Mendizábal" de Ceuta aprovechamos está señalada fecha para llevar a cabo un taller de sensibilización y concienciación de alumnos internos en materia de igualdad de oportunidades y prevención de violencia de género.

En el año 2017 durante la celebración del Año Europeo de la educación de adultos, participamos como sección de Educación Permanente de Salteras en una actividad organizada por la Universidad de Jerez, en la que nos invitaron a comunicar las actividades que nosotros organizamos con motivo de esa efeméride. Fue en el Instituto Universitario de Investigación para el desarrollo social sostenible donde realizamos el programa. Allí comunicamos con radio alma en Bruselas y compartimos la experiencia con el fin que nuestra comunicación fuera oída por emigrantes españoles de aquella ciudad europea.
