Universal Design for Learning (UDL) - A Professional Development Workshop

Irlanda, Dublin (Baile Átha Cliath)
Viernes, Febrero 22, 2019 - 11:00 CET to Viernes, Febrero 22, 2019 - 16:00 CET

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) creates inclusive pedagogy by encouraging a curriculum design tailored to address the needs of all students. By acknowledging that there is no average, UDL focuses on the needs of the individual and supports students through the variety of transitions that define their experience of higher education. UDL acknowledges the diversity in experience, culture and personality among learners and provides teachers in HEIs with the tools
to reach out to all students in the classroom.

This Professional Development Workshop (PDW) aims to introduce, promote and implement an inclusive teaching and learning environment using principles of UDL

The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Abigail Moriarty of De Montfort University.

This workshop is taking place on

Friday 22nd of Feburary between 10am and 3pm

in the Solas Room of the U Building in Dublin City University's Glasnevin Campus.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided to all attendees

Tickets are free, however early registration is advised to assure your place.
