The Right Approach to Refugee Students

Düzce University implemented a project called "Integration of Refugee Children Towards Sociocultural Harmony" in the period from 2022 to 2024 within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Programme in cooperation with partner institutions from Slovakia, Slovenia, Germany, and Türkiye.

One of the outputs is a publication entitled The Right Approach to Refugee Students, which has been produced by the Partnership's experts and includes the following chapters:

  1. The Relationship between School, Parents and Community in the Integration of Refugee Students 

  2. The Modern Teacher in the 21st Century 

  3. Multicultural Education in the Educational Process at the Primary School 

  4. How To Support (a) Pupil(s) with a Migrant Background in the Classroom 

  5. Inclusive Education

  6. Solving Situations in the Classroom 

  7. How to work with pupils who have experienced stress and trauma? 

  8. Cooperation with parents of pupils with a migrant background
