CESAE DIGITAL

CESAE Digital was born in July 2020, as a result of the transformation of what was then known as CESAE - Centre for Business Services and Support, promoted by the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, and by agreement between IEFP and AEP, thus continuing a meritorious and qualifying task of around 35 years at the service of innovation and knowledge.
This transformation of the former CESAE was approved by the Protocol creating CESAE Digital - Centre for the Development of Digital Skills, signed between the IEFP - Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP, IP) and the Business Association of Portugal (AEP).
In this way, the new CESAE Digital becomes a Protocol Centre or Participated Management Vocational Training Centre, being a non-profit organisation with legal personality under public law, and with the aim of:
- Respond to training needs, particularly in the areas of the digital economy and professional (re)qualification of employed and unemployed people;
- Promote the development of digital competences as a tool for promoting the employability of working people;
- Promote the design of and participation in qualifying training programmes for unemployed young people, with the aim of improving their employability.
