The Government of Serbia approved the annual Adult Education Plan for 2019.

In accordance with this plan, 529.839.000 dinars (about 450.000 euros) were allocated for adult education, based on the needs of the labor market, more rational usage of existing educational capacities, and bearing in mind the different developmental features of certain areas, the press service of the Government of Serbia stated.

The Annual Adult Education Plan for 2019 represents a unified overview of planned adult education activities in the priority education areas that have been identified. Those activities will be implemented by the relevant institutions and social actors, in order to respond to the defined needs of the local economic environment and the labor market.

Among many actors from the adult education sector, representatives of the Foundation Tempus - EPALE National Support Service also participated in the activities of the Working Group on the preparation of the plan proposal.
