The Special Education School Center in Tarnowskie Gory is an institution for children and youths from 5 to 24 years old, who because of their disability can’t attend the schools in their place of living. There are 200 students at the moment at school. Our school is for mentally retarded children (mild, moderate and severe mental retardation).

The children learn here theoretical subjects: Math, Polish, History, Science, English, German etc. and the instruction level is adjusted to the pupils abilities.

The Vocational School prepares our teenagers to be the cook.

We also prepare them for social life and educate by sport activities, music and we improve their manual skills (drawing, cooking, hand working).
