In Extremadura, the educational centres that are authorised to teach a training cycle by distance learning will appoint a teacher from the corresponding vocational training department as coordinator of the cycle.

The responsibilities of the coordinators of distance learning courses are listed in instruction no. 5 of the Directorate General for Vocational Training and Training for Employment. This instruction regulates the provision of training cycles and specialisation courses in distance learning, in blended learning and on-line distance learning modalities, as well as in on-line partial modular regime in public educational centres in Extremadura for the academic year 2023/2024..

As every school year, the Adult and Distance Education Service, in collaboration with the Centro de Profesores y Recursos de Mérida, has held a four-monthly seminar with the coordinators of the distance education cycles. At the last meeting one of the topics of discussion among others has been:

Dissemination of Erasmus +Space.

As we know, this is a tool of the e-learning platform for adult learning in Europe, whose purpose is the development of the Erasmus +KA1 and KA2 projects.

Purpose of this space: The project coordinators and their partners can use it for the management and dissemination of the projects, so it offers the possibility of publishing content privately, as well as for the general public.

The main objective is to implement combined mobility and cooperation projects, starting with online meetings followed by physical meetings.
