Remote Worker
For whom?
For all (information) workers who fully or partially perform their work remotely. Also, students and all others, who are interested in remote work subject.
Why?
The recent pandemics and the research showed that a large part of work activities were shifted to digital environments. Research also showed that workers struggle to participate in remote work effectively. Issues such as communicating with co-workers and managers, using IT tools, organizing time, taking care of well-being cause increased levels of stress, lower efficincy and motivation, and possible burnout.
An additional skills certificate is always useful to increase your chance for employment.
When and how long?
You can enroll anytime - best before the end of 2025. Each course requires approx. 20-50 hrs of your time.
What do you need to do?
0. Visit the course info page.
1. Firstly, register in the e-learning platform and check out the introduction course.
2. Enroll in the Remote Worker course and complete the following modules:
- W.M1. Remote communication
- W.M2. Collaborative development of digital products
- W.M3. Digital productivity
(enrollment key: virtualedu)
Each course includes: short and long readings, presentations, videos, quizzes, short assignments (debates in forum), a written assignment at the end of each course.
3. Complete learning modules and earn the digital badges as you progress through.
4. Earn the certificate of completion.
5. Examination and final (ECQA) certification.
