My Meetings with the Himalayas
The talk follows the remarkable mountaineering journey of Viki Grošelj, from his early climbs in Slovenia to the highest peaks on all seven continents, with a special focus on the Himalayas. It offers a personal reflection on decades of expeditions and the lessons learned in the world’s great mountain ranges—about risk, perseverance, responsibility, and humility.
Viki Grošelj is one of Slovenia’s most prominent alpinists, a participant in numerous Himalayan expeditions and an accomplished author.
A lecture will be 90 min long and held in English.
