OLTU HALK EĞİTİMİ MERKEZİ
"Oltu Public Education center was founded in 1975 and it is a non-formal training center providing vocational, social-cultural courses for 1500-2000 trainees per year and the center has 3 directors and about100 trainers.
The aims of the center are:
-Providing lifelong training to people,
-Providing participation for people to develop Project striggering public resources
-Protecting national cultural values
-Developing universal culture
On the other hand; other services are performed such as conducting studies for education-production-employment, marketing and organizing; arranging some activities in order that individuals migrated from rural to urban could adapt to environment and training of traditional craftworks.
Centre offers services by lifelong learning and Non-formal Training applies module programs for adult education. A fee is not charged to trainees and a participation certificate is granted to trainee succeeded in the course programme. There are computerlabs, workshops and classrooms for processing Oltu stone, silver, embroidery, knitting work and clothing in the Centre.
we have got enough experinces about KA1 and KA2 projects.
Our institution has participated as a project coordinator or partner in the fields of handicrafts, waste evaluation, information technologies in adult education and education of disadvantaged individuals.
