This post concerns the dissemination of results of an Erasmus plus project of Rayko Tsonchev High school, co-financed by the European Union, called: Continuous professional development-a key to innovative education. To respond adequately to the modern requirements for quality education CHPGTP Rayko Tsonchev aims at improving the quality of its educational services by raising the qualification of teachers and management in relation to new teaching methods, soft skills, ICT competencies, intercultural competence and developing skills to manage the school in a globalizing environment. As an innovative school by spirit, our goal is for our teachers to acquire skills to apply new knowledge and skills in the learning process and intercultural awareness, implying both professional and personal development.

The project focus is on three main areas that increase the competence of teachers and non-teaching staff in CHPGTP "Rayko Tsonchev". These are:
1. ICT
2. Strategic Partnership
3. New lerning methods (CLIL)

All three are closely linked to the overall strategy of the school to be the instigator and driving force of innovative approaches in
education and provide modern advanced training to prepare for both further studies and life and business.
For the purpose of the project six persons of the school staff were involved, taking part in six mobilities that were completed within one calendar year.

The planned six mobility for participation in structured courses concern three thematic areas set out in the project description, as in each course one approved candidate took part. For greater efficiency, there are two training courses set for each thematic area of competence development.

Improving participants’ competences will give in turn positive results on students’ performance, and this will lead to parents’ satisfaction of the choice of educational institution they have made.
