DESIGN FICTION WORKSHOP - Scenarios for CVET 2040

Amidst the emerging trends in current and future transformations, prospective studies are proliferating. The Erasmus + project 'In-CVET 2040,' in which 3s Research & Consulting is actively participating, adopts an alternative and innovative approach known as 'Design fiction.' This approach aims to engage individuals in reacting and debating based on fictions presented in an immersive manner, where all issues come to life through storytelling.
In March, we invite the community to contribute to the ongoing development of the scenarios by taking part in a transnational workshop which will give experts and practitioners the opportunity to comment on six proposed scenarios while experimenting with the approach of design fiction. The scenarios will cover topics from lifelong guidance, funding, skills strategies to new technologies in learning and working. The professional insights and expertise will serve to enrich the ongoing process of building fiction.

It will be chaired by Olivier Wathelet, from the Design Fiction collective Making Tomorrow, a partner in the project.

What happens then?
After this workshop, we will provide you with access to the following intermediate productions scheduled for the second quarter of 2024: the initial versions of enhanced scenarios and fictions. This will also be an opportunity for you to continue contributing to enriching the project's results.
